Rebecca in Flames

I just came up with this character a few days ago. Rebecca, a woman with no home, no connection to anyone or anything.
On Grim's ( ) world, where I'm basing her, mages used to run rampant, wild with their power. They even destroyed the world once, and used to create monsters of unimaginable power. Once the corrupt gods of the old pathaon was destroyed, and new gods accended, they decided to control the power of the mages with the Mage Mark. It comes to be when a person's magical power manifests, marking them as a a mage, warlock, bard... any sort of magic user. The only people exempt from it are Dragons and other inherently magical non-humanoids (besides Dragonborn). If they become too powerful it burns all of the magic out them them, insuring the safety of the recently repaired world.
In Rebecca's village, in the forest of Aranor, the southern continent of Septa, before the Mage War (some 2000 years before she was born) a girl was born in the village. Possessing unusual magical powers, she took over the area, running rampant as a powerful and cruel tyrant until the god's armies came and killed her. The village, scared by the shame, started a terrible practice that they felt was necessary. Whenever a girl born of the village develops the Mage Mark, they imprison her and execute her, depending on her age she is either drowned or hung. Rebecca's mark showed up when she came of age, two sets of dragon-claw scar-like marks on her neck and shoulders the colors of flame. In the day before she was hung, her family publicly disowned her and stated, not twenty feet from her prison window, that they would be forever grateful to the other villagers for ending their shame for having birthed a sorcerer. Enraged at being abandoned to an unfair fate, she snapped. First, the prison and gallows caught fire (you can see the gallows in the middle-left of the image. Then she burned the villagers, people she had once called friends and even family, alive, destroying them and their entire town. By mid-afternoon, everyone was dead, and she left them, and her last name, behind. She was sixteen years old.

The rune in the flames from her left hand is the draconic rune for vengeance.
